Paul Foreman is a chef who boasts an impressive list of accomplishments and an even bigger personality. In 2018, he decided to venture into the world of consulting to offer his 30+ years of experience and knowledge back to the industry that gave him so much.
Through discussion and collaboration with Paul, I was able to create an adaptable brand using a bold typeface and oil textures that connect back to Paul’s experience as a head chef in some of Australia’s best restaurants. The brand also places emphasis on strong imagery, which allows Paul and his favourite ingredients to shine. I engaged local photographer Nat Mendham to capture imagery and took the shoot opportunity to capture videography for Paul’s website and social media channels. It was important that the brand showcased Paul’s knowledge and experience and had the versatility to be strong in a corporate setting as well as stand out on hospitality event posters.
Paul’s brand was a favourite of mine and I’m proud to have received a nomination for it’s art direction at the Dieman Awards alongside brands like MONA and the University of Tasmania.
